Green Certification

Sustainable Duke has developed a robust Green Certification program to help employees and students make their corner of campus more sustainable. There are certifications for your workplace, lab, classroom, dorm, event, and home. Learn more on the Green Certifications page.

Green Devils

Green Devils are Sustainable Duke’s paid intern team. This lineup of student leaders work to mentor Sustainable Duke’s first-year Sustainability Ambassador program, spearhead behavior change campaigns and a variety of projects, and work as true change makers for sustainability across campus. Sustainability Ambassadors

The Sustainability Ambassadors program is designed to give first-year students the opportunity to build a robust toolkit around interdisciplinary sustainability while functioning to build community and leadership skills among participants. Mentored by Sustainable Duke’s Green Devil intern team, this year-long program allows students to explore topics such as global sustainability, food systems, environmental and energy policy, urban planning, circular economy, and more. Departmental Workshops

Sustainable Duke is available to strategize with your department or organization on a variety of topics related to sustainability at Duke. Currently Sustainable Duke hosts workshops on its Green Certification programs and can potentially design a workshop on a specific topic related to your class.
