The Office of Climate and Sustainability provides a wide variety of programming and opportunities to educate and empower the Duke community with the goal to create a new generation of change makers both on campus and beyond. If you would like to help, there are three ways to contribute to sustainability efforts at Duke.
Financial Support
If you would like to support the vision for a carbon neutral high-powered research institution, we welcome your support to help us expand our efforts by:
- infusing sustainability across all corners of campus, including Duke's carbon neutrality commitment and Climate Commitment
- expanding educational offerings, including workshops, academic research opportunities, and the Sustainability and Climate Applied Learning (SCALe) program
- providing a diverse set of programs and opportunities for students, including internships, campus programming, and project development support
If you would like to support the Office of Climate and Sustainability, please donate today!
Volunteer
If you like getting directly involved, OCS also has plenty of opportunities to volunteer your time including:
- Zero Waste Game Days and Zero Waste K-Ville
- Devil's Thrifthouse
- Tree plantings
- Duke Campus Farm
If you are interested in staying in the loop on these opportunities, please follow us on Instagram and sign up for our Newsletter.
