Robin Fail

Assistant Director of Climate and Sustainability Research

Robin is the Assistant Director of Climate and Sustainability Research. In this role, she supports Duke’s Climate Commitment through implementation and strategic support of keystone programming, including the SCALES Postdoctoral Fellows Program, Climate Commitment-funded research grants, the Climate Commitment Advisory Council’s research subcommittee, and university-wide climate research. Robin has a Ph.D. in Marine Science and Conservation and a Master’s in Public Policy from Duke. Her research is focused on policy and social science that supports the wellbeing of both human communities and their environment. Before joining OCS, Robin served as a Knauss Marine Policy Fellow with the U.S. Marine Mammal Commission.
