Assistant Director for Education Program Development
As the Assistant Director for Education Program Development in the Office of Climate and Sustainability, Katie supports educational innovation at the nexus of climate, sustainability, and the many disciplines represented across Duke. Her portfolio includes climate and sustainability faculty development for instructors and lifelong learning opportunities for alumni. She also provides logistics support for the Climate Commitment Advisory Council (CCAC) Education Subcommittee. She holds a B.S. in Earth and Ocean Sciences from Duke University and a Ph.D. in Marine Science from the University of South Florida. Prior to joining the Office of Climate and Sustainability, Katie served in program administration roles within the Nicholas School of the Environment and Pratt School of Engineering.
