Eco-Clamshell Giveaway

WHEN: Thursday, February 16, 2012 - 6:30 PM
WHERE: The Great Hall (near the cashier) (Map)

Students for Sustainable Living and Duke Dining are giving out 15 eco-clamshells for FREE every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 p.m.! Eco-clamshells are reusable to-go containers that can be used at The Great Hall, The Loop, and The Refectory. Normally, customers pay a nominal fee of $5 to enroll in the program, but Students for Sustainable Living will be tabling in the Great Hall every Thursday evening to promote the use of eco-clamshells and to give some out for FREE! Feel free to stop by and ask us questions about the program or to pick up your token.

How-to guide:

  1. Purchase your eco-clamshell for $5 at The Great Hall cashier station, or get it free from the SSL table each Thursday.
  2. Use your token at The Great Hall, The Loop and The Refectory to have your food served in an eco-clamshell.
  3. Return your eco-clamshell to the cashier in return for a token after your meal.
