Sustainability Signs
Background
Duke’s sustainability signs are a project designed and approved through a partnership between Students for Sustainable Living and the Campus Sustainability Committee. The purpose of the sustainability signs is to encourage simple, environmentally-friendly behaviors that will conserve energy, water, and paper, as well as money, at Duke University. All of the signs are printed with eco-solvent ink.
During the summer of 2010, the sustainability signs were placed in residence halls across East and West Campus. Each year since 2010, student employees of Sustainable Duke have continued to place the signs in additional University academic buildings. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these sustainability signs, please contact sustainability@duke.edu.
